What is data center deployment?
Data center deployment is the full physical build-out of IT infrastructure in a data center, colocation cage or server room. It covers receiving and checking equipment, installing servers, storage and network hardware, running power and cabling, labeling and testing everything, and documenting the result so a remote team can configure and go live.

What’s included in an ITDW Group deployment project
Scope is agreed per project. A typical engagement covers:
- Receiving and staging. Accept deliveries, check shipments against packing lists, record serial numbers and flag damaged or missing items before installation.
- Rack and stack. Install servers, network hardware, PDUs and storage to your rack elevation and labeling standards. See Rack and Stack Services.
- Structured cabling. Build copper and fiber pathways with tested terminations, cable management and durable documentation.
- Cabinet, cage and containment work. Cabinet and rack installation, cage build-outs and containment, where the project requires it.
- Data center migration. De-rack, transit, reinstallation and go-live checks around planned maintenance windows. See Data Center Migration.
- Testing and validation. Rack-level checks, captured evidence and resolution of exceptions before closeout.
- Documentation and handover. Labels, photos, test results and a clean record of what changed.

Deployments are quoted per project. The main factors are the site and its location, the number of racks and devices, the cabling scope (copper and fiber runs, patching and labeling), whether ITDW Group also sources and ships the hardware, the timeline and working hours, and the facility’s access rules.
